Foundation Cracks in Austin, TX: Causes, Signs & Solutions

I had a patio cover installed by Texas Home Improvement. I am very to happy to sit outside in the shade in my yard. I no longer have to sit outside in the sun, thank you all!

Texas Home Improvement today completed a major renovation of the near 50 year old home in the DFW area we relocated to from northern Virginia, installing backing, hardie boards and COOLWALL SUPER COTE in replacing original siding that was in places cracked with rotted backing. We thank Armando and his crew for their skilled and meticulous completion of this renovation under the leadership of Project Manager Ty Liempet and we appreciated the efforts of sales person Eric Perkins in identifying the means whereby we could undertake and complete the whole project with interest free financing. We are very pleased with the outcome.

We performed a modest outdoor patio remodel which required painting after construction. Gave THI a call and they were very responsive. The site visit and bid was quick and easy and the project manager, Ty provided great contract execution. The painter, Nick performed excellent service and did a great job. He was very attentive to keeping overspray and protection as a high priority - and performed like a champ during extreme hot weather. Finished product looks great while make the new patio extension blend seamlessly with the house. This is our second time in using THI and will do so again if necessary.

Had fascia/trim repaired and painted using Coolwall. Gutters were removed to make sure everything got painted. Came out great. Gutter and paint crews were professional and worked fast. Highly recommend.

My wife and I had discussed early this year about having our 50 year old 3500 square foot home painted. In early May we made the decision to follow through with our plans to paint the trim on our home. We listened to their pitch and decided upon the "Cool Wall" paint product, even though I knew their quote was higher than most. A crew came out this past Monday morning. Jaime's crew of Raul, Branden, and Samuel first performed some repair work which was a far better fix than I expected. They pressure washed the surface. They took the time to caulk every joint. I found out later just how necessary it is to caulk every edge and joint. A lot of companies bypass this, but not Texas Home Improvement. They sprayed on the "cool wall" paint. They finished by late Monday afternoon... just before a storm hit. They cleaned up well. I highly recommend going with cool wall paint and this company. Our home looks great. The surface is cool to the touch even on the hottest days. It will not fade... ever. Yes, you will probably pay a bit more for this product, and for the professional work of their crews. But I believe it is worth using the best company to improve your most valuable investment... your home. They were friendly, professional, interactive, competent, and went above and beyond to give us the satisfaction we were looking for. We are glad we used Texas Home Improvement. They utilize a team approach to give you the best service possible. I suppose all of their crews are as good as the guys we had. Highly recommend.

Despite weather delays, Texas Home Improvement and their rep., Luis, were able to complete the jobs with alacrity and professionalism.

Had soffits replaced and trim painted with cool wall. Salesmen told my husband and I the paint job had lifetime warranty transferable one time in case we sold. Never got anything in writing regarding the warranty. Have left message with salesmen with no return call. I've tried calling the Grapevine office and it hangs up. They did a good job but I would not have spent this much money if the warranty was not included. Just want a straight answer. How do I get the warranty? Warranty was hand delivered as promised.

Chris came by the house while they were working on a project for one of my neighbors. They showed me about their product cool wall and how they could repair our home. I took them up on the project and the crew did a great job. Gabriel came by and helped us with color samples and made sure the project went with ease. Very good people.

The whole project experience was excellent. From the project bid provided by Christian Plascencia, the direction and oversight from project manager Gabriel Lavadenz and the actual Hardy board update, CoolWall paint and gutter replacement by foreman Raul and his specialty teams. Will definitely use the for future projects around my property and home.

DJ went above and beyond, and I can’t recommend him enough. He took time out of his own schedule to come by and look at an issue that was honestly hard to explain without seeing it in person. Right away, he put my mind at ease by confirming that what I was experiencing was just normal home settling—not a bigger problem. What really stood out was his honesty and integrity. He could have easily turned this into a paid job or escalated concerns, but instead he gave me straightforward, reassuring feedback. He also took the extra step of writing up a summary of his visit for my records in case anything ever comes up down the line, which I really appreciated. It’s rare to find someone so kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely looking out for your best interest. DJ saved me from unnecessary stress—and likely from being overcharged by other companies. I’m incredibly grateful for his help and wouldn’t hesitate to call him again in the future.

My husband & I had been wanting to have the masonite on our 50-year-old home. Replaced & watched a neighbor have the same thing completed on his house. We spoke with Texas Home Improvement about their product & process & decided that it was a good time to complete this project. The full pricing was a little above our budget, but with a little negotiation, we were able to agree upon a reasonable amount for this size project. We couldn’t be happier. The products used, workmanship & work ethic of their employees was something we hadn’t experienced with other contractors. We love the fact that they do not subcontract the individual projects but everyone who works on your home works for the company. The Coolwall product is amazing And if you want contractor that stands behind their company and product, Texas Home Improvement is for you.

I highly recommend TX Home Improvement to paint your home and to replace your roof. From my first contact with the young man who rang my doorbell (Logan), to the salesman (Derek Griffey), to the young man who oversaw every detail (Luis Rucalvaba), to the handyman who touched up, replaced my bird feeder and windchimes on my patio (Cesar), l can only say wonderful job!
